gmtv2f.jpg (53040 bytes) Neil was asked how he first knew he wanted to be a song writer.
He told the story of going to camp and enjoying the music there. He spoke of the   singers always having guitars.
He hinted to his parents about a guitar which they duly bought for him. He practised diligently never having to be forced to practise.

During college in New York University, he learned a lot from the people there

Helen asked if all the sacrifices had been worth it.

Neil's answer was that he thought so but was not certain.

He said he had given up two marriages and also given up the growing up of his four children.
He had been only able to see them at very special times.

He adored the children and had a super close relationship with them.   Without them there would have been no reason to pursue the career as far as he had.

The short interview came to a close then with another song from the new album - Mission Of Love
