| Neil is asked if he minds being called a legend. | He says he doesn't - it's not a bad name to be called. |

| They go on to comment on Neil Diamond being his real name. | They mention the story of Eice and Noah being considered as possible stage names. Neil says he thought them up in a coffee shop. |

| They speak about cover versions of his songs and ask who he would like to hear recording one of his songs. | Neil replies U2. "Us?" says Ben. Jenni adds "We could do Sweet Caroline!" Not quite the U2 he had in mind! |

| Then it was on to question time - Neil had to say which of the choices he preferred....... | "Jump-suit or jeans?" -Jeans "Sideburns or shape?" - he'd had the sideburns for years but now they are gone. |

| "Glitter or Gold?" - Glitter as you had to be seen on
stage "Cowboy boots or sneakers?" - definitely cowboy boots. |
"Britney or Blondie?" - "Who? " asks Neil
with a puzzled look before settling for Blondie. "Big band or ballads?" - Likes BOTH equally. |

| Now a surprise for Neil. | Ben presents Neil with a gold record for selling 100,000 copies of The Essential Neil Diamond. |
| Neil was then given a chance to publicise his tour - he rattled off Glasgow, Newcastle, Birmingham, Sheffield, Manchester .. and then after much deliberation remembered NOTTINGHAM and then said the tour finished in London. | |
| Now it was time for Neil to sing. He chose a ballad - You Are The Best Part of Me. |
