London Today

	During his week of promo TV appearances, Neil gave this very short interview which was shown in the London area.

Ken Andrew - Neil Diamond has been spangling his stuff for decades now but never fails to draw big audiences when he tours Britain. Thiirty seven top forty hits as performer and songwriter provide him with a huge back catalogue for a live show that still causes the flutter in the hearts of ladies of a certain age. And he loves coming to London....
	I love London and we'll get around and eat at some of my favourite restaurants - if they are still in business.
	Check out some of the museums,the art galleries - just walk the streets of London. I love the city.

At 61 Neil should be taking things easy but he is the first to admit that his life is anything but. He suffers from depression and has seen shrink for thirty years and gave away half of everything he owned when his second marriage failed. Going on stage makes it all worthwhile though
	I've gone through some difficult personal things in the last five or six years.
	I think I'm out of the woods on that and I'm ready to just enjoy myself. I am having a good time performing.
	I'm pleased with the last album - the Three Chord Opera album. Everything is beautiful .
	I certainly wouldn't have predicted it at this point in my life but I'm having a ball.
